1. Monitor and control entry and exit of students, staff, visitors, and service personnel.
2. Maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry/exit records.
3. Verify visitor identity and ensure visitors follow hostel rules.
4. Conduct regular security rounds/patrols around the hostel premises.
5. Monitor CCTV cameras and immediately report suspicious activities.
6. Maintain security at the main gate and hostel premises.
7. Assist the Hostel Warden in maintaining discipline and safety among residents.
8. Handle emergencies such as fire, medical emergencies, fights, theft, or unauthorized entry and immediately inform the concerned authority.
9. Report any suspicious activity, damage, theft, or security incident to the Hostel Warden/Management.
10. Ensure hostel gates are opened and closed according to the prescribed schedule.
11. Check incoming and outgoing materials, parcels, and other items when required.
12. Support fire and other emergency evacuation procedures.
13. Perform any other security-related duties assigned by management.
