We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage day-to-day transportation operations, ensure timely vehicle placement, coordinate with drivers and customers, and maintain smooth logistics execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily vehicle movement and trip execution.
- Coordinate with customers, drivers, transporters, and loading/unloading teams.
- Ensure timely vehicle placement and on-time deliveries.
- Track vehicles through GPS and provide regular status updates.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, detention, and route deviations.
- Prepare daily MIS reports and maintain trip records.
- Verify diesel consumption, toll expenses, and trip-related documents.
- Coordinate with billing and accounts for PODs, invoices, and trip closures.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through prompt communication.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of GPS tracking systems and transport documentation is preferred.
