Job OverviewWe are seeking dedicated, responsible, and empathetic Full-Time Hostel Wardens (Lady Warden for Girls' Hostel & Gents Warden for Boys' Hostel) for our campus in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The ideal candidates will oversee daily hostel operations, ensure resident safety, maintain discipline, and foster a supportive, secure environment for residents.

Since this is a full-time residential role, comfortable lodging on campus and daily meals will be fully provided at no cost.

- Key Responsibilities1. Resident Care & DisciplineMaintain daily attendance, decorum, and discipline within the hostel premises.
- Enforce hostel regulations, curfews, entry/exit logging, and leave permission approvals.
- Address resident concerns, disputes, or personal challenges empathetically and confidentially.
- Perform routine room inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety compliance.
- 2. Safety & Emergency ResponseEnsure tight security protocols in coordination with security personnel at entry and exit points.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies (coordinating first aid, local hospital visits, or emergency services in Gandhinagar).
- Maintain updated emergency contact records for all residents, parents, and local guardians.




- 3. Hostel Operations & Facility ManagementOversee routine hostel maintenance, cleanliness, water supply, electricity, and amenities.
- Coordinate with local maintenance staff (electricians, plumbers, housekeepers) for quick repairs.
- Supervise the hostel mess/canteen to ensure hygienic, quality meals.
- Maintain accurate logbooks for student registers, visitors, inventory, and maintenance requests.
- Key Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- Languages: Proficiency in Gujarati and Hindi is highly preferred; basic English communication is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience as a warden, hostel supervisor, campus administrator, or retired defense/public service personnel is advantageous.
