Job Description – Accountant (Solar Industry)

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's financial records, statutory compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate must have experience working in the Solar Industry and should be familiar with accounting processes related to rooftop solar projects, vendor payments, subsidy-related documentation, and GST compliance.

- Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain books of accounts.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain vendor, customer,



and project-wise financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants.
- Monitor project expenses and maintain cost records for solar installations.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory-related accounting records.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement accounting.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company financial policies.
- RequirementsBachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Accountant in the Solar Industry is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
