Senior Interior Designer – Job Description (Key Responsibilities & Expectations)

- Lead end-to-end interior design projects from concept development to final execution and handover
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and detailed layouts aligned with client requirements
- Prepare and review 2D drawings, 3D designs, working drawings, and BOQs for accuracy and execution feasibility
- Coordinate with clients for design presentations, approvals, and timely design closures
- Oversee material selection, finishes, and vendor coordination to ensure design intent is maintained
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and execution teams for seamless implementation
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure quality standards
- Manage timelines, design deliverables,



and ensure projects are completed within the schedule
- Handle client escalations, provide design solutions, and maintain strong client relationships
- Guide and mentor junior designers, ensuring design consistency and team productivity
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to bring cutting-edge solutions
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company processes
- Coordinate with external consultants (lighting, HVAC, MEP) for integrated design solutions
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle
