Job Description: Accountant Position: AccountantJob SummaryThe Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting management with financial analysis and budgeting.

- Key Responsibilities: Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support management by providing financial analysis and reports.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- 4-5 years of accounting experience (depending on the role).
- Skills Required: Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
