About the RolePioneer Rubber Corporation is looking for an experienced Stores, Inventory & Dispatch Manager to take complete ownership of material movement from moulding to final customer dispatch.
The person will be responsible for maintaining accurate WIP and finished-goods inventory, coordinating in-house and outsourced finishing, managing vendors and helpers, maintaining batch-wise traceability, coordinating inspection and packing, and ensuring all customer dispatches are completed accurately and on time.
This is a hands-on shop-floor role requiring strong follow-up, documentation, inventory control and team-management skills.
Key Responsibilities1. Material & WIP Management
- Receive molded components from production and verify part number, batch, machine, shift and quantity.
- Maintain accurate stock of molded material, material under finishing, inspection stock, packed stock and ready-for-dispatch stock.
- Ensure physical stock matches records and investigate discrepancies immediately.
2. Finishing & Outsourcing Management
- Coordinate material movement for in-house and outsourced finishing activities.
- Issue material to finishing vendors/helpers with proper documentation.
- Track material sent, material received, shortages, rejections and pending quantities.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely completion of work.
3. Vendor Ledger & Material Accounting
- Maintain vendor-wise material ledgers.
- Track opening balance, material issued, material received, pending quantity and balance quantity.
- Maintain complete accountability of all material lying with outside vendors.
4. In-house Helper Management
- Allocate daily work to helpers for deflashing, trimming, deburring, buffing, cleaning, counting and packing.
- Maintain person-wise records of what work was done, which part was processed and quantity completed.
- Monitor productivity and manpower utilization.
5. Inspection & Quality Coordination
- Transfer finished material to QC for inspection.
- Track accepted, rejected, rework and pending quantities.
- Ensure no material is lost between finishing, inspection and packing.
6. Packing & Finished Goods
- Coordinate packing of approved material according to customer requirements.
- Ensure correct part, quantity, batch identification, labels and packing standards.
- Maintain accurate finished-goods and ready-for-dispatch inventory.
7. Dispatch
- Coordinate complete dispatch operations from packed stock to customer shipment.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Planning and Transporters for dispatch documentation and vehicle arrangements.
- Maintain dispatch registers and ensure dispatches are completed on or before committed dates.
- Ensure zero wrong dispatches and zero quantity/documentation errors.
8. Batch Traceability
Maintain complete batch-wise traceability:
Raw Material → Mixing Batch → Compound Batch → Moulding → Production Shift → Operator → Finishing → Inspection → Packing → Dispatch → Customer
The candidate must be able to trace a dispatched component back to its manufacturing and raw-material batch.
9. Inventory Control & Reporting
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock verification.
- Maintain WIP and finished-goods ageing.
- Prepare daily stock, WIP, vendor pending, packing and dispatch reports.
Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation.

- Candidate Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in Stores, Inventory or Dispatch in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Rubber Moulding, Automotive Components or Engineering Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Experience managing outsourced processing/finishing vendors is preferred.
- Should have experience handling WIP and finished-goods inventory.
- Should be comfortable working on the shop floor and coordinating directly with production, QC, helpers and vendors.
- Strong numerical ability and documentation skills are essential.
- Candidates who have only handled general warehouse operations without manufacturing/WIP experience may not be suitable.
