We are building a range of everyday food products including traditionally processed flours, wood pressed oils, natural sweeteners, superfoods and other grocery essentials.

As we expand our presence across Kolkata and beyond, we are looking for an FMCG Sales & Business Development Associate who can take ownership of building our sales channels across offline and online markets.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a young brand and build the market from the ground up.

About the Role

You will be responsible for driving sales and building distribution for DNN across retail, up-to-date trade, distributors, B2B, institutional sales and online channels.

This is a field intensive role. You will spend significant time meeting retailers, distributors, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, corporate buyers and other potential customers, while also working from the DNN office for sales planning, follow ups, reporting and coordination.

We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities → make the pitch → negotiate → close the account → onboard the customer → drive repeat orders.

- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Offline Sales & Distribution
- Identify and onboard new retailers, supermarkets, premium grocery stores and organic/natural food stores.
- Develop relationships with distributors and sub-distributors.
- Expand DNN's retail presence across key markets in Kolkata.
- Identify new territories and sales opportunities.




- Conduct regular market visits and outlet mapping.
- Ensure product availability and visibility at retail outlets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Drive repeat orders from existing accounts.
- Negotiate commercial terms, margins and order quantities within company guidelines.
- 2. B2B & Institutional SalesDevelop B2B sales opportunities with:
- Restaurants
- Cafés
- Hotels
- Corporate offices
- Caterers
- Institutions
- Health & wellness businesses
- Other bulk buyers
- Generate leads and convert them into recurring customers.
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Identify opportunities for bulk orders and customised requirements.
- 3. Online SalesSupport growth across DNN's online sales channels.
- Follow up on online leads and enquiries.
- Identify potential online marketplaces and sales platforms.
- Work with the marketing team to convert campaigns and leads into sales.
- Monitor online sales performance and customer feedback.
- Identify opportunities to increase repeat purchases.
- 4. Business DevelopmentProactively identify new sales channels and partnerships.
- Research competitors, pricing, distribution and market trends.
- Identify gaps in the market that DNN can address.
- Develop sales pitches and presentations for different customer segments.
- Participate in exhibitions, food events, pop-ups and trade events when required.
- Represent DNN professionally at external meetings and events.
- 5. Sales Management & ReportingAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain a clear sales pipeline.
- Track leads, meetings, conversions and pending follow-ups.
- Prepare weekly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate customer and account information.
- Provide regular market feedback to the founders.
- Track competitor products, pricing and promotions.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams for order fulfilment and deliveries
