Handing and taking over of the patients and ongoing treatment details from previous shift Doctor properly and document the same To provide medical cover routine and emergency during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other RMO to provide a 24 hour service to the hospital Check and assess urgent admissions as required when the relevant consultant is not immediately available To undertake a morning and evening ward round daily ensuring patients are visited where appropriate and communicate any medical problems or concerns to Consultants Performing initial assessment of the medical and physical status of patients in both emergency and admitted patients Evaluating patient s symptoms and recording the progress notes Maintaining patient s medical records to document all medications and results Ensure proper medication to the patient as prescribed by the consultant and providing patient education Communicating patient on various topics related to their fitness and hygiene Ensure proper ordering of test and examinations being conducted for the individual patient Provide training to nursing staffs as per pre-defined schedule as well as whenever required Ensure proper medical care is being provided to the patients in case of both pre and post-surgery and Assisting in surgeries Supervise the daily clinical management of all patients in conjunction with the nurse team leaders and under the guidance of Consultants and attend all post-operative patients on day of operation and every day following Respond to calls from the ward relating to patient care Assist in the day to day functions at the hospital and any other reasonable tasks within their level of experience requested by the hospital Ensure proper protocol is being followed for the discharge process and discuss medication on discharge with patients and write a discharge summary if requested Any other duty assigned by the management as and when required Job Type Full time Pay 30 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Jharsuguda Orissa Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Education Bachelor s Preferred Work Location In person
