Position Perfusionist Location Meridian Hospital Kolathur Chennai Department Cardiothoracic Surgery Operation Theatre CTICU Employment Type Full-time We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Perfusionist to join our dynamic team at Meridian Hospital The candidate will be responsible for operating the heart-lung machine and other sophisticated equipment during cardiac surgery and other medical procedures that require cardiopulmonary bypass Key Responsibilities Operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during open-heart surgeries and other procedures Monitor patient s physiological parameters such as blood flow blood gases anticoagulation levels and temperature Manage intraoperative and postoperative perfusion support techniques e g ECMO IABP if applicable Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons anesthesiologists and OT staff Maintain perfusion equipment and ensure it is functioning optimally Maintain detailed records and documentation of procedures and equipment usage Stay updated with latest practices in perfusion technology and safety protocols Eligibility Criteria B Sc in Perfusion Technology Postgraduate Diploma in Perfusion Technology from a recognized institution Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a surgical setting Good communication and teamwork skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
