We are seeking a motivated and professional Trainee Travel Counselor to join our team at Sky-Sketch India in Kolkata in the Esplanade area and Salt Lake Sector 2 This role involves handling calls providing exceptional customer support and addressing queries and concerns related to hospitality travel and tourism within a dynamic environment that offers growth opportunities The position offers a starting pay of 8000 to 9 000 during the training period depending on the candidate s knowledge and experience For experienced candidates the remuneration is negotiable The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the office operates efficiently You will need to complete multi-level tasks professionally and on time to promote packages and follow up on them through online promotions on various social media platforms MUST HAVE A PASSION FOR TRAVEL The initial contract is for 6 months of on-the-job training A strong knowledge of geography or a degree diploma in Travel Tourism and Hospitality Management is required your actual salary will be fixed after the successful completion of the training period Students or candidates under 25 years old are with clients inquiries and promote travel on various social media platforms Making hotel and transport reservations and issuing air tickets as required is also part of the role Contracting with recent hotels resorts and vendors to enhance customer service is essential as is browsing the internet for offbeat and up-to-date travel information Itinerary planning exploring new destinations managing groups at the airport FIT and GIT as needed and undertaking office management tasks both indoor and outdoor if required such as banking filing travel documents data entry office maintenance and arranging travel insurance are also part of the role These are the basic outlines of your job profile You will also manage the office in the absence of the CEO Please focus on itinerary planning preparing quotations based on client queries and making phone calls for package promotions and follow-up actions You will be trained to provide exceptional travel advice and support to our clients You will learn to create personalised travel itineraries assist with booking accommodations flights and transportation and ensure a seamless travel experience for our customers This role demands a passion for travel and customer service along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment We offer 3- to 5-day orientation programs each lasting 4 hours at our office Before beginning your 6-month provisional period you ll have the opportunity to understand the work pattern If you choose to join after the orientation you are welcome and your 6-month provisional period will start from that day with pay Your actual salary will depend on your performance after completing your training During the first 3 months you ll learn the job the next 3 months will involve practising after which you can work independently There will also be opportunities for a salary increase during the provisional period and for exceptional performance Additionally after confirmation there are provisions for a
