Position Overview The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all workplace safety standards implementing effective safety protocols and creating a culture of safety at the project site This role demands vigilance technical knowledge and the ability to train and motivate the workforce to adopt secure work practices Key Responsibilities Implement and enforce site safety rules policies and statutory regulations Conduct daily safety inspections and regular audits of tools equipment and work areas Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents Organize and conduct safety training sessions Investigate accidents and near-misses prepare reports and follow up on corrective measures Maintain all safety records and documentation as per company and client requirements Coordinate with site supervisors project managers and client representatives on safety matters Ensure compliance with PVUNL NTPC safety guidelines and contractor safety procedures Required Qualifications Option 1 B Tech Degree any discipline ADIS Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from an AICTE-recognised institute Minimum 2 years of experience in construction industrial safety Option 2 Diploma in Engineering any discipline ADIS from an AICTE-recognised institute Minimum 5 years of experience in construction industrial safety Skills Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to conduct training and motivate the workforce Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Work Location In person
