Counseling and support Provide one-on-one and group sessions to address academic personal social and mental health concerns Academic advising Assist with academic scheduling course selection and transitioning to higher education by explaining options like majors programs and financial aid Career guidance Help students identify suitable career paths based on their skills and interests and inform them about resources for career exploration Collaboration Work with parents teachers and administrators to develop and implement support plans for students Mental health support Help students develop coping mechanisms for stress anxiety and other challenges and implement preventative programs where needed Monitoring progress Track student progress through grades and other feedback tools to ensure they are on track to meet their goals Essential skills and qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Empathy patience and sensitivity Ability to work with a diverse range of students and backgrounds Solid listening and problem-solving skills Knowledge of local mental health resources often a plus Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 19 856 24 per month Work Location In person
