Job Title Civil Engineer - PMC Site Railway Sector Experience 4 to 7 Years Location Location - e g Project Site Southern Africa Countries India Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to work in our PMC Project Management Consultancy team specializing in railway infrastructure projects The candidate will assist in site supervision technical support quality control and project coordination activities The role involves hands-on involvement in monitoring civil works ensuring execution as per design reporting progress and maintaining safety and quality standards Key Responsibilities Assist in monitoring civil engineering activities at railway project sites ensuring compliance with design drawings safety norms and quality standards Review and interpret structural drawings technical specifications and material submittals Perform regular site inspections to verify work progress material quality and workmanship Prepare site inspection reports daily progress reports and quality assurance documentation Coordinate with contractors clients and other engineering disciplines Track Signaling Electrical for smooth execution Support the preparation of method statements construction schedules and risk assessments Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with railway-specific safety codes Assist in resolving technical and operational issues in office in collaboration with senior engineers Support preparation of technical documentation for site audits and statutory inspections Assist in the preparation of measurement sheets work certificates and interim payment documentation Required Qualifications Skills Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering B E B Tech Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in civil engineering projects preferably in the railway sector Practical knowledge of railway civil works such as track works bridges culverts embankments station buildings Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Project and other engineering software tools Good understanding of Railway standards technical specifications and safety practices Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under supervision Good communication and report writing skill and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment is required Knowledge of site safety and quality control procedures Preferred Experience Hands-on experience in site execution of railway track works bridges and other railway infrastructure Exposure to PMC site management practices Coordination experience with contractors and statutory authorities Application process Interested applicant must have a valid passport with a minimum validity till 2027 and willingness to travel to Southern Africa countries for PMC project work Interested applicants may apply by emailing their CV in pdf format on email protected
