Artic Consulting is a dynamic technology and management consulting firm that partners with clients to deliver innovative solutions through strategy implementation and support With a people-first culture and a focus on excellence Artic is expanding its India operations and looking for talented professionals to join our growing Ahmedabad team Position Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Quality Assurance QA Engineer - Manual Testing to support the quality and integrity of data-driven applications This role focuses on ensuring the performance security and reliability of Microsoft SQL Server databases and works closely with cross-functional teams to support Agile development and data reporting initiatives Key Responsibilities Maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server-based Generate Databases Ensure database security reliability and performance tuning Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery protocols Coordinate database updates patches and version controls with IT teams Prepare and validate data for federal EDFacts reporting Develop and document robust business rules for data processing Ensure compliance with Common Education Data Standards CEDS Collaborate with state program sponsors and stakeholders to define data requirements Create and maintain technical documentation including stored procedures workflows and reports Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives Required Skill Set Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and experience with stored procedures Hands-on experience in manual testing with a focus on data accuracy and validation Proficient in Active Directory-based database security and compliance Solid technical documentation and communication skills Experience in backup disaster recovery and performance tuning of SQL databases Experience Minimum 6 years of experience in writing and optimizing SQL Server queries Minimum 4 years of experience in SQL Server database administration Why Join Artic Consulting India Be a part of a growing and collaborative team environment Work on impactful projects with government and enterprise clients Career development opportunities with a global consulting firm Competitive salary and flexible work environment Job Type Full-time Pay 700 000 00 - 1 000 000 00 per year Work Location On the road
