The Draftsman in an interior fit-out company is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans based on design specifications This role involves translating concepts into accurate layouts ensuring alignment with project requirements and coordinating with designers architects and project teams for successful project execution Key Responsibilities Drafting and Technical Drawings Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for interior fit-out projects using CAD software Develop layouts elevations sections and detailed shop drawings based on design concepts Project Coordination Collaborate with designers architects and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure all changes are accurately reflected Material and Specification Integration Incorporate materials finishes and furniture specifications into drawings Ensure compliance with industry standards codes and client specifications Site Measurements and Surveys Conduct on-site measurements and surveys to verify dimensions and gather necessary data Update drawings to reflect site conditions and modifications Documentation and Records Maintain an organized library of project drawings revisions and documentation Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders Quality Assurance Check drawings for accuracy completeness and adherence to design standards Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure implementation aligns with drawings Support for Execution Provide technical support during project execution to resolve on-site issues Assist in preparing as-built drawings post-project completion Qualifications and Skills Education Diploma or degree in Architecture Interior Design Civil Engineering or a related field Experience 2-4 years of experience as a draftsman preferably in the interior fit-out industry Experience with residential commercial or retail fit-out projects is an advantage Skills Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD SketchUp Revit etc Strong understanding of interior design principles materials and construction methods Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical plans Good communication and coordination skills Interested candidates can share me your resume at careers padams in Job Type Full time Pay 10 930 52 - 31 840 42 per month Work Location In person
