We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full range of accounting functions including financial reporting bookkeeping tax and VAT compliance payroll processing bank reconciliations and supporting audits This is a key role that supports accurate financial management regulatory compliance and operational efficiency Key Responsibilities General Accounting Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements Record daily financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts including bank and intercompany accounts Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules Accounts Payable Receivable Process vendor invoices verify expense coding and ensure timely payments Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer balances Maintain proper documentation for all receivables and payables Reconcile supplier and customer accounts on a regular basis Taxation VAT Prepare and file accurate tax returns including VAT GST withholding tax and corporate tax Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international tax laws Maintain and reconcile VAT control accounts and other tax-related accounts Liaise with tax consultants advisors and regulatory authorities Stay updated with changes in tax laws and recommend necessary adjustments Payroll Support payroll processing and ensure correct calculation of employee benefits taxes and deductions Ensure timely submission of payroll-related taxes and contributions Maintain accurate employee financial records and assist with payroll audits if needed Financial Reporting Analysis Assist in the preparation of budgets forecasts and variance analysis Provide financial data and insights to management for decision-making Prepare custom reports as needed by internal departments or external stakeholders Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations Compliance Internal Controls Ensure accounting practices comply with internal policies procedures and applicable accounting standards e g IFRS or GAAP Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives Maintain confidentiality of financial data and safeguard sensitive company information Required Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles tax regulations and VAT laws Experience with accounting software Zoho Odoo Tally QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Qualified certification Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Experience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location Remote
