Job Responsibilities Operate monitor and maintain the dredger engine and all mechanical systems Perform daily inspection of engine room fuel levels lubrication and safety equipment Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out minor repairs as needed Ensure smooth functioning of dredger operations during dredging anchoring shifting and mobilization Maintain logs for fuel consumption engine performance and maintenance records Coordinate with dredger crew and follow instructions from the site engineer supervisor Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and environmental regulations Respond quickly in case of emergencies or breakdowns Required Qualifications ITI Diploma in Mechanical Marine Engineering or related field preferred Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating dredger engines cutter suction dredger preferred Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulics and marine machinery Ability to identify faults and perform preventive maintenance Physically fit and able to work in marine in office conditions Skills Required Engine troubleshooting Mechanical maintenance Dredger operation Safety and compliance knowledge Team coordination Logbook reporting skills Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Work Location In person
