Overview As a Data Engineering Architect specializing in Snowflake you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines managing data migration projects and providing pre-sales support to our clients You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions that meet business requirements Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Data Pipeline Design Design develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest process and store large volumes of data in Snowflake Implement ETL ELT processes to ensure data quality and integrity Data Migration Lead data migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Snowflake Develop migration strategies including data mapping transformation and validation processes Architecture and Best Practices Define and implement best practices for data architecture data modeling and data governance within Snowflake Collaborate with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals Pre-Sales Support Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities including technical presentations solution demonstrations and proposal development Engage with clients to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions leveraging Snowflake Collaboration and Leadership Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions Mentor and guide junior data en Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Master s degree preferred 10 to 15 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data architecture and pipeline design Solid expertise in Snowflake including data warehousing data modeling and performance tuning Experience with data migration projects including knowledge of ETL ELT tools and methodologies Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and data integration tools e g Apache NiFi Talend Informatica Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders Proven experience in pre-sales support and client engagement is a plus
