Job description Position IT Support- Intern Location Mohali Duration 6 Months Department Information Technology No of positions- 5 Stipend- 5-8K Job Overview As an IT Support Intern you will assist the IT team in maintaining troubleshooting and supporting the organization s hardware software and network systems This role offers hands-on experience in IT support and an opportunity to develop technical and problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities 1 Technical Support Provide first-level technical support to employees addressing hardware software and network-related issues Log and track IT service requests using the ticketing system Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff 2 System Maintenance Assist in setting up installing and configuring hardware software and peripheral devices Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and software 3 Network Assistance Support the IT team in monitoring and maintaining local area networks LAN and wireless networks Assist with troubleshooting network connectivity issues 4 Documentation Maintain accurate records of IT assets licenses and configurations Update technical documentation and user guides as needed 5 Training and User Support Help end-users with system usage software and device troubleshooting Provide basic training for new hires on IT tools and platforms 6 Project Assistance Support ongoing IT projects including migrations upgrades or deployments Contribute to testing and quality assurance processes Qualifications and Skills Education Currently pursuing a degree diploma in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field Technical Skills Basic knowledge of operating systems Windows macOS or Linux Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Google Workspace or similar tools Understanding of networking concepts like TCP IP DNS and DHCP a plus Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Others Eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapid-paced environment What You ll Gain Hands-on experience with enterprise-level IT systems Exposure to real-world problem-solving in IT infrastructure Opportunity to collaborate with a professional IT team Mentorship and guidance for career development in IT Job Type Full-time Pay 5 000 00 - 8 000 00 per month Work Location In person
