URGENTLY HIRING Position Title Building Maintenance Technician Department Facilities Management Location Recent Friends Colony South Delhi Position Overview The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall upkeep repair and safe operation of office facilities and related systems This position ensures that the building environment remains functional efficient and compliant with all applicable safety standards The incumbent will perform preventative and corrective maintenance respond to service requests and support a professional workplace environment conducive to productivity Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Perform regular inspections and routine maintenance of building systems including HVAC plumbing lighting electrical and safety equipment - Conduct general repair work such as painting carpentry minor electrical and plumbing repairs and office fixture installations - Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner to minimize disruption to office operations - Execute preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal operation and longevity of building equipment and systems - Coordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors and contractors as required - Maintain accurate records of inspections repairs and preventative maintenance activities - Ensure compliance with all occupational health safety and building code requirements - Support office space management including furniture assembly office moves and setup of work areas - Assist in responding to emergency situations including power outages water leaks and fire alarm activations - Manage inventory of maintenance tools materials and replacement parts Qualifications and Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required technical or vocational training in building maintenance or related field preferred - Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in facilities building maintenance or a comparable environment - Working knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing carpentry and general building systems - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and safety procedures - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail - Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and perform tasks involving bending climbing ladders and standing for extended periods - Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees vendors and contractors - Basic proficiency in computer systems for maintenance tracking and reporting Working Conditions - This is a full-time on-site position located within an office environment - The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent maintenance needs or scheduled projects Compensation and Benefits - Competitive salary commensurate with experience - Paid time off holidays and opportunities for professional development Job Type Full-time Pay 200 000 00 - 240 000 00 per year Benefits Paid time off Work Location In person
