MEP Design will lead the design and coordination of Mechanical Electrical and PHE systems for high-rise residential and commercial projects This role involves overseeing consultants reviewing design deliverables ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards and driving timely approvals The manager will play a key role in cross-functional coordination risk mitigation and providing technical leadership to internal teams and stakeholders Key Responsibilities Technical Mechanical Electrical Strong knowledge of local and international design codes and authority requirements Carry out and review design calculations for Mechanical Water supply drainage hot water systems firefighting HVAC load ventilation solid waste equipment sizing etc Electrical Load estimation short circuit voltage drop lighting lux levels equipment selection etc Capable of preparing reviewing DBRs and Concept Design reports Experience in schematic design space planning and vertical shaft planning Familiar with LIFT traffic analysis and planning MEP Infra design capabilities including flood risk analysis and mitigation strategies Hands-on experience with relevant software tools such as Mechanical HAP StormCAD HEC-RAS preferred Electrical ETAP Dialux preferred Review and approve consultant contractor design documents shop drawings and material submittals Understand and coordinate with architectural structural and all other services like ELV FA CCTV BMS PA etc Conduct site visits respond to RFIs and provide timely technical solutions Support tendering process through technical discussions rate analysis and vendor evaluation Prepare authority submission documentation and coordinate with liaison teams Maintain design trackers compliance reports and provide consolidated technical inputs for reporting Managerial Plan monitor and control deliverables from consultants and contractors Prepare micro-schedules for design deliverables Review consultant invoices and contractor variation claims Lead coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders Supervise and manage in-house design resources Encourage and motivate team members towards timely and quality deliverables Escalate and resolve design risks or conflicts in consultation with leadership Qualifications Experience Bachelor s Degree B E B Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Diploma holders with exceptional experience may also be considered 9-12 years of core MEP design experience Must have hands-on experience in design and coordination of MEP systems Mechanical Electrical ELV PHE HVAC Fire Fighting for residential and commercial projects Prior experience with Grade-A real estate developers in India is preferred Skills Proficient in AutoCAD basic drafting for markup and review MS Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication Strong decision-making and analytical skills Positive stakeholder and people management capabilities Collaborative solution-oriented and adaptable to change An inclusive Godrej Before you go there is something important we want to highlight There is no place for discrimination at Godrej Diversity is the philosophy of who we are as a company And has been for over a century It s not just in our DNA and nice to do Being more diverse -
