Job Title General Manager - Civil Engineering Company Noel Infrastructures Pvt Ltd Location Chennai Pondicherry or as per actual location Website https noelinfrastructures com About Us Noel Infrastructures Pvt Ltd is a leading player in steel structures and infrastructure development delivering turnkey PEB and civil construction solutions across sectors With a growing team and strong project pipeline we are looking for a seasoned professional to head our Administration functions The General Manager Civil Engineering will oversee all civil engineering operations within the organization including planning budgeting project management personnel management and compliance The GM will ensure that all civil engineering projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety Key Responsibilities Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion Supervise and coordinate the work of project managers engineers and other site staff Develop and implement strategic plans for civil engineering and construction activities Oversee budgeting scheduling and resource allocation for multiple projects Ensure compliance with industry regulations safety standards and environmental laws Liaise with clients government authorities consultants and contractors Manage procurement of materials equipment and labor Prepare progress reports technical documentation and risk assessments Ensure quality assurance and quality control across all civil works Drive innovation and best practices in construction methodologies and technologies Lead recruitment training and development of the civil engineering team Resolve technical issues and provide expert guidance on design and construction matters Required Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Master s or MBA preferred Skilled Engineer PE license or equivalent preferred or required depending on location 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and construction management Proven experience in a leadership or general management role in large-scale infrastructure or building projects Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards codes and best practices Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software e g AutoCAD Primavera MS Project Excellent organizational leadership and interpersonal skills Key Competencies Strategic planning and execution Budget and cost control Problem-solving and decision-making Communication and negotiation Team leadership and motivation Risk management Technical and commercial acumen Working Conditions Office and site-based work Travel to project sites as required Occasionally required to work long hours or weekends based on project needs Job Type Full-time Schedule Day shift Morning shift Work Location In person
