Requisition ID 71024 Date Aug 1 2025 Location IN Department Digtl Transfrmtion Description Job Summary The Software Engineer Digital and Transformation requires knowledge and expertise to participate in the architectural design development and enhancement of West applications Incumbent will work with an international team to bring the power of IT in the Pharmaceutical space contributing to an productive and effective production flow as well as instrumentally contribute to West Pharma IoT internal and customer facing capabilities The role encompasses technical functional expertise people and stakeholder management Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in setting up and maintaining the software components Work with support and testing team to provide first class experience to users Produce quality source code and technical documentation Assist in developing and maintaining tooling for management monitoring and deployment CD of software components Support product development related QMS procedures and work instructions Support the software components development teams and projects Assist in projects and deliverables Communicate and work with local and overseas teams Support senior roles to architect project from prototypes to testing Other duties as assigned Additional Responsibilities Education Bachelor s Degree Computer Science Engineering or equivalent preferred required Work Experience No min required 1 years of related work experience required Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities Ability to master new technologies quickly Networking routing and security knowledge Database usage experience in one of the following PostgreSQL Mongo Redis Cassandra Elastic-search Prometheus Script programming knowledge any languages Any of following Experience appreciated Various monitoring and deployment tools Cloud services Container Orchestration systems Encryption technologies Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic use sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency Able to comply with the company s safety and quality policies at all times License and Certifications Travel Requirements 10 Up to 26 business days per yearPhysical Requirements Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs 4kgs of force occasionally and or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time Additional Requirements
