Evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal tumors metastatic bone disease and other orthopedic oncologic conditions Perform specialized surgical procedures such as Limb-salvage surgery Tumor resections Endoprosthetic reconstructions Management of pathological fractures Amputations when indicated Provide inpatient care postoperative management and outpatient follow-up Review imaging X-ray MRI CT PET biopsy reports and pathology findings Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary team meetings oncology radiology pathology radiation oncology Ensure evidence-based and patient-centered treatment plans B Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to hospital policies Oversee junior doctors fellows residents and nursing staff in the ortho-oncology unit Participate in quality improvement initiatives and morbidity mortality reviews Develop clinical protocols pathways and guidelines for tumor care C Teaching Academic Roles Provide teaching and mentorship to residents fellows and medical students Conduct clinical presentations lectures and training workshops Participate in academic meetings and conferences D Research Responsibilities Engage in clinical research trials and publications in musculoskeletal oncology Contribute to innovation in limb-salvage techniques implants and oncologic outcomes
