Company GSS Projects Location Mysuru Karnataka Experience Required 5-10 years in CSR sustainability or development sector Employment Type Full-time Salary Best in the industry About GSS Projects GSS Projects is a leading real estate organization committed to transparency trust and quality in property development and investments With decades of experience we provide end-to-end real estate solutions from land procurement and project development to legal support and customer services We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to strengthen our legal framework and support our growing portfolio of projects Position Overview The Legal Advisor will oversee and manage all legal activities related to land acquisition property development compliance documentation and litigation The ideal candidate must have 10 years of proven experience in real estate law including expertise in property due diligence RERA compliance contracts land laws and regulatory matters Key Responsibilities 1 Legal Due Diligence Land Acquisition Conduct thorough legal due diligence for land purchases joint development agreements JDAs and property-related transactions Verify title deeds RTC mutation records EC survey maps and related land documents Identify legal risks discrepancies or encumbrances and provide recommendations 2 Documentation Contracts Draft review and negotiate legal documents such as - Sale agreements - Sale deeds - Power of Attorney - Development agreements - Lease agreements - MOUs and other contractual documents Ensure compliance with state-specific real estate laws and regulatory requirements 3 Regulatory Compliance Ensure 100 compliance with RERA urban development authorities town planning departments and other regulatory bodies Handle approvals related to land conversion layout sanction building permits and other statutory requirements Keep the management updated on changes in laws regulations and legal procedures 4 Litigation Management Represent the company in property-related disputes civil matters and legal hearings Coordinate with external lawyers and track litigation progress Prepare legal notices replies and affidavits as required 5 Advisory Risk Management Provide legal guidance to management on strategic decisions investments and project planning Identify potential legal risks and propose proactive solutions Ensure proper maintenance and confidentiality of legal records 6 Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with government authorities revenue offices and legal consultants Support sales projects and procurement teams with legal clarifications and documentation Required Qualifications Skills Education Bachelor s degree in Law LLB LLM preferred Experience 10 years of specialized experience in real estate law mandatory Strong understanding of Karnataka land laws RERA stamp duty registration processes Proven expertise in property due diligence and title verification Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently manage multiple cases and make informed decisions High level of integrity professionalism and attention to detail Preferred Attributes Experience working with real estate developers land aggregators or property consultants Strong networking skills within local government departments and legal circles Ability to handle high-pressure situations and strict deadlines Compensation Market-competitive salary package based on experience and industry standards
