Qualification Bachelor s and or Master s degree in Engineering Mechanical Electrical MBA in Supply Chain is preferred Experience 5-8 yrs of experience in CPG production planning Knowledge of machines and equipment used Ability to identify and quickly resolve equipment issues on shop floor Knowledge of risks in case of equipment issues and risk mitigation actions Has experience in operational implementation Has got exposure of at least 3 years in manufacturing excellence Has familiarity with Lean concepts Kaizen TPM Integrated Management System OSHAS 5S six sigma etc Is well versed with different analytical tools like Pareto Poka Yoke Value Engineering Purpose of the Role To ensure the reliability safety and efficiency of production equipment and utilities across all TMUs by Providing strategic engineering consultancy and direction for maintenance projects and automation Supporting TMUs in reducing equipment downtime enhancing energy efficiency and improving asset utilization Leading the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance frameworks Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and supporting sustainability and innovation initiatives Key Accountabilities Drive standard maintenance practices including preventive and predictive across all TMUs Evaluate and recommend best-in-class engineering practices and systems for adoption Identify and support engineering automation and improvement projects from ideation to implementation Evaluate technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed projects Provide expert support for critical breakdown resolution and reliability improvement Guide TMUs to achieve 100 compliance with statutory and regulatory engineering norms Standardize documentation processes for maintenance asset history utilities usage and licensing Assess skill gaps and roll out technical capability-building initiatives for engineering teams at all TMUs Promote a safety-first mindset and mentor teams on engineering safety standards Ensure all utilities meet performance and compliance standards across TMUs About the Role Lead professionals are individual contributors Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others is aware of the competition and the factors
