Job Title Network Telecommunications Supervisor Division ELV IT Infrastructure Reports to ELV Systems Supervisor or Head of Division Position Type Full-Time Supervisory Position Summary This specialist supervisor focuses on the active IT and telecommunications infrastructure within buildings They lead the design of robust secure and scalable network systems that support all data voice and wireless services Key Responsibilities Manage a team of network designers and engineers Design local area network LAN and wireless LAN Wi-Fi infrastructure including logical and physical architecture Specify active network equipment switches routers firewalls wireless controllers Develop detailed network rack layouts cabling schedules and IP addressing schemes Coordinate with IT security consultants to implement cybersecurity measures for the building network Ensure designs meet best practices and standards e g from Cisco BICSI Interface with telecom service providers for WAN and internet connectivity Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering Network Engineering or a related field Qualified certifications such as CCNA CCNP or equivalent are highly desirable 6 years of experience in network design for enterprise or building environments Leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of IP networking VLANs VoIP and network security Understanding of passive cabling systems from the ELV domain Job Type Full-time Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
