JOB TITLE Finance Operations Specialist LOCATION Bangalore Timings - Hybrid - 5 30 pm - 1 30 am Vacancy type Permanent The Position This role is responsible for all cash application functions applying cash receipts to appropriate invoices and posting payments solving queries related to cash applications and coordinating with the customers This role will report into the Functional Manager in the Finance Shared Services India To work closely with the Regional Finance Manager Banks and the Client Your Responsibilities Download bank transactions from the bank internet banking Identify the source of fund and match with invoice client update the same at the system SAP Handle bank reconciliation with ledger and intercompany balance with the counterparty Communicate with business clients for unidentified fund refund client monies paid in advance credit on account Generate invoice upon request from the client Generate AR settlement record for business upon request Ensure proper document filing Monitor customers payment collection process Attend ad hoc as request Balances the cash received to the cash posted daily Payment remittance reconciliations Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries Participate in Month-end and Quarter-end activities including supporting audit requests Your profile Experience 8-10 years in Cash application Credit collection Treasury function in an international corporate workplace Excellent usage of Excel Ability to work independently but also collaborate effectively with the team High accuracy level Fluent in English Prior experience of SAP Good communication skills that allow working and communicating across borders and functions Basic understanding of foreign exchange Proactive behavior Structured approach sense of urgency and able to perform under pressure towards tight deadlines Result-driven approach and enjoys working as part of a team Timeliness accuracy and completeness and reliability of reporting Meeting reporting deadlines Ability to communicate and resolve the issues with the client directly
