Job Summary The Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery is responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and participating in academic research The role requires a balanced engagement in surgical practice education scholarly activities and institutional development Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurosurgical conditions including cranial spinal and peripheral nerve disorders Perform neurosurgical procedures independently or under supervision depending on case complexity Participate in outpatient clinics inpatient rounds operating theatre schedules and emergency on-call duties Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology radiology orthopedics and ICU staff Contribute to surgical planning and post-operative management of neurosurgical patients Academic Teaching Responsibilities Teach and mentor undergraduate MBBS and postgraduate MS DNB students and residents Conduct bedside clinics seminars lectures and case discussions Supervise PG residents in neurosurgical procedures and skill development Participate in curriculum development and academic assessments Research Scholarly Activities Conduct or assist in clinical and translational research in the field of neurosurgery Publish research articles in indexed peer-reviewed journals Guide PG students in thesis work and research methodology Administrative Institutional Duties Participate in departmental academic meetings hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives Ensure adherence to institutional protocols medical ethics and regulatory standards Assist in organizing CMEs workshops and academic conferences Qualifications and Experience Essential MBBS with MCh DNB Neurosurgery from a recognized university institution Valid registration with Medical Council of India or relevant country state Minimum teaching clinical experience as per NMC MCI or local regulatory body norms for Assistant Professor Qualification - MBBS MS MD DNB MCh Eligibility - As per NMC Norms Speak with employer (phone hidden) (phone hidden) Mail Id esidiwagar gmail com elevatedsynergyindia gmail com Job Type Full time Pay 150 000 00 - 250 000 00 per month Work Location In person
