About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Long-Form Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention YouTube videos.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, pacing, audience retention, sound design, visual effects, and modern editing styles. You should be someone who doesn’t just edit footage but understands how to keep viewers watching until the end.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final delivery.
- Understand the script and create a strong visual narrative around it.
- Maintain excellent pacing, flow, and audience retention throughout the video.
- Add relevant B-roll, stock footage, images, graphics, animations, text, and visual effects wherever required.
- Create engaging intros and hooks that immediately capture the viewer's attention.
- Use effective cuts, transitions, zooms, sound effects, music, and visual elements without over-editing.
- Perform professional audio cleanup, sound mixing, color correction, and basic color grading.
- Research and source relevant visual assets when required.
- Work closely with the scriptwriter, content team, and creative team to improve the final output.
- Take creative ownership of the edit and suggest improvements wherever necessary.
- Deliver videos within agreed timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with current YouTube editing trends,



storytelling techniques, and retention strategies.

What We’re Looking For
- Robust knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or similar tools is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of storytelling and visual communication.
- Strong sense of pacing and timing.
- Ability to make informational content interesting, engaging, and visually dynamic.
- Good understanding of YouTube audience retention and watch-time.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to take feedback and continuously improve.
- A creative mindset — someone who can bring their own editing ideas to the table.
