- To enter the names of the patient, the time of coming to the department with the requisition and the tests required
- To give instructions to patients. No patient should be made to wait for unduly long period.
- To take X-ray as prescribed by the doctor.
- To develop and process the X-ray films
- To prepare X-ray envelops and keep it ready for the radiologist to report.
- To assist doctor while doing ultra sound examination.
- To keep the patient ready and inform doctor, when the ultra sound is being done in the ward.
- Priority to be given to reliable and ICU patients.
- OPD ECGs to be done on regular basis.
- This is applicable when both ultrasound technician and X-ray technician are on duty if alone will have to cover all the work including doing X-ray and see that there is no inconvenience.
- To maintain the record of the department.
- To maintain the stock register of the department.
- To do all the Mammography.
- To deliver the reports and maintain the undelivered reports in the department.
