Position Summary:

The Writer/Researcher will be responsible for researching, writing, editing and developing content that supports the University's Academic, Research, Cultural, Branding and Communication initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing skills, strong Research capabilities and the ability to present complex information in a clear, engaging and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research, write and edit SEO-optimized content for the University's website, blogs, Landing pages and Digital platforms
- Create engaging content for Academic programmes, Research initiatives, Faculty achievements, Student Success stories, Brochures, Newsletters and Institutional publications
- Research and write articles on India's Heritage sites, Historic cities, Museums, Monuments and Cultural projects
- Develop Research-based articles, Reports, Case studies, White Papers and other academic content.
- Collaborate with Faculty and internal teams to produce accurate, engaging and well-structured content
- Conduct Keyword Research and implement SEO best practices to improve Search visibility
- Verify information using credible sources and maintain high editorial standards
- Proofread and edit content for clarity, accuracy,



grammar and consistency
- Stay updated on trends in Higher education, Research, SEO, Indian Heritage and Culture
- Support the preparation of Research proposals, Accreditation documents and other Institutional Reports
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing and Design teams to deliver impactful Content and Campaigns
- Manage multiple Writing and Research assignments while meeting deadlines

Qualifications:

- Master's degree is mandatory in any relevant discipline from a recognized University.
- Candidates with strong Academic Writing, Research or Publication experience will have an added advantage.
- NET/SET qualification or prior Research experience would be considered desirable but is not mandatory.

Experience:

- An experienced candidate with 14 years of relevant experience would be preferred. However, Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bengali
- Exceptional Research, Analytical and Critical Thinking skills
- Strong Storytelling and Editorial abilities
- Ability to simplify complex Academic and Technical concepts into Reader-friendly content
- Excellent Proofreading and Editing skills
- Familiarity with Academic Referencing and Citation styles would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Solid Organizational, Time-Management and Multitasking skills
- Experience with AI-assisted Research and Writing tools would be considered an added advantage
