Role Description The Working Capital Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Burdwan. This role involves assessing clients’ working capital requirements, analyzing financial statements, and structuring appropriate credit solutions within the bank’s policies and risk parameters. The specialist will manage a portfolio of business customers, monitor account performance and utilization, and ensure timely renewals and reviews of working capital facilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with credit, operations, and risk teams for seamless processing, documentation, and disbursal of limits,



while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. The role also requires regular client meetings, cross-selling relevant banking products, preparing periodic reports and MIS, and supporting business growth through proactive relationship management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills, including the ability to interpret balance sheets, cash flow statements, and working capital cycles.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship management and communication skills to engage with business clients, understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of banking products and processes, particularly working capital facilities, trade finance instruments, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using MS Office tools and banking systems for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or professional certifications (e.g., CA, MBA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in corporate or SME banking, credit underwriting, or working capital management is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, meet timelines, and adapt to evolving business and regulatory requirements.
