Job title System Engineer - HVAC PCA Job family Engineering Design Department Airports Reporting to Director - Engineering Design Responsibility Individual Contributor Location Chennai India Summary HVAC Systems engineer with around 7 to 10 years proven experience in developing HVAC or PCA Systems preferably in transport mobility applications Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Main tasks key responsibilities Customise PCA system and equipment design for wide range of projects globally across sites for different climatic conditions and end user requirement Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to understand functional performance requirement operational environment regulatory compliance and specify the product and system requirement Establish and oversee all technical aspects of PCA development covering thermal calculations design and selection of appropriate systems components prototype building and validation Deliver technical proposals technical documents for customers approval and support in concept to detailed design and drawings for production Devise testing procedures to assess and fulfil technical functional and performance requirement Analyse PCA systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation Maintain and modify current products towards cost reduction value engineering reliability improvement standardisation modularisation Support to Services Trouble shooting Key internal and external interfaces Internal Stakeholders PCA Product Managers for PCA Project Managers Engineering Team members Production Team Field Services External Stakeholders Suppliers Customers Hard skills Expert in HVAC Systems design thermal calculations and selection of appropriate systems parts to fulfill technical functional and performance requirements Expert in regulations like ASHRAE compliance regulations including any certification Review designs evaluate prototypes through verification and validation Problem solving techniques trouble shooting and identifying solutions Strong exposure to DfX DFMEA Soft Skills Teamwork Oral and written communication in English Problem Solving Relationship building Time Management Mobility requirements Occasional travel to Europe or US Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 1 200 000 00 - 1 800 000 00 per year Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Application Question s What is your Current CTC What is the expected CTC What is the notice period or last working day Experience total work 7 years Required HVAC or PCA 5 years Required Work Location In person
