BlackStone eIT is on the lookout for a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team In this role you will take the lead in designing building and maintaining robust data architectures and systems that enable effective data management and analytics solutions across the organization Your expertise in data engineering will help transform our data strategy and improve our overall organizational efficiency You will work closely with data analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to ensure that our data systems are optimized for performance reliability and scalability Key Responsibilities Design construct and maintain data processing systems and databases to support business needs Implement ETL processes to automate data collection and integration from diverse sources Develop and optimize data models and database structures using best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions Monitor data quality and integrity implementing measures to ensure data accuracy Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance data practices Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster a collaborative and productive environment Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field Minimum of 8 years experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar position Proficient in SQL and other programming languages relevant to data engineering Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions Familiarity with cloud platforms e g AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience with big data technologies e g Hadoop Spark is a plus Advantages Competitive salary paid in USD Fully remote - work from anywhere Work with a diverse international team Exciting projects and a supportive engineering culture Opportunities to grow technically and professionally
