DESCRIPTION Amazon s EU ATS Network Operations Control Tower seeks a dynamic Program Manager II to lead critical initiatives across our European operations This role will drive transformational programs that enable our 24 7 network monitoring and tactical capabilities The ideal candidate will oversee comprehensive workstreams spanning network monitoring investigations analytics and process automation The position requires 5 years of program project management experience demonstrated analytical capabilities and a proven track record of managing people delivering complex cross-functional initiatives Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills are essential Experience in logistics or supply chain operations knowledge of Amazon s transportation network and background in process automation are highly desired This high-impact role oversees pan-European operations managing initiatives that directly influence network performance and customer experience The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Amazon s network operations implementing creative solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the European network Key job responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations in EU with at least 6 direct reports This role requires to operate as manager of a team Lead teams and projects influencing all levels of management to re-engineer business Apply project management best practices to increase productivity and effectiveness of the team you lead and teams you work with Simplify processes and judiciously add refine and remove procedures Proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of your team and stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks Communicate ideas effectively verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences including Directors and VPs Influence team priorities and business strategy through data-driven contribution Foster a constructive dialogue harmonize discordant views and lead the resolution of contentious issues build consensus BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3 years of program or project management experience - 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 3 years of delivering cross functional projects experience - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Experience managing teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Experience in data mining data management reporting and SQL queries Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
