Qualification - ITI Welder or PUC with Welding Fabrication Skills 1-8 yrs experience required Detailed Responsibilities Interpreting Blueprints and Specifications Welders read and understand technical drawings specifications and weld symbols to determine the correct procedures and materials for a project Setting up Welding Equipment This involves selecting the appropriate welding machine setting parameters like amperage and voltage and preparing the work area with necessary tools and safety equipment Performing Welding Operations Welders use various welding techniques such as MIG TIG or stick welding to fuse metal parts together fill holes or repair damaged metal Maintaining Equipment and Tools Welders are responsible for the upkeep of their welding machines torches and other tools ensuring they are in positive working order and properly maintained Ensuring Quality and Safety This includes inspecting welds for defects ensuring they meet specified standards and adhering to strict safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries Cutting and Preparing Metal Welders may need to cut metal to specific dimensions grind surfaces and prepare materials for welding Fabricating and Assembling Welders can be involved in the fabrication of metal structures components or products often working from detailed plans and specifications Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Welders may encounter challenges during welding processes and need to identify and resolve issues sometimes collaborating with other team members Working with Various Materials Welders work with different types of metals including steel aluminum and other alloys requiring knowledge of their properties and welding characteristics Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace A clean and organized workspace contributes to safety and efficiency and welders are responsible for maintaining their work area Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
