Education Qualifications B Ed in Special Education or Diploma in Special Education M Ed in Special Education preferable RCI Registration preferable The Special Educator will coordinate and provide developmentally appropriate educational services to students whose abilities differ from their peers Some of the responsibilities and duties are as follows Directs monitors and mentors students with special needs Performs a variety of assessments and observations to determine areas in which student might require extra or modified educational support and services Develops Individualized education programs IEPs for each students set learning goals and adopting modifications as necessary Implements IEPs provides ongoing or follow up assessments and continually tracks progress and makes necessary modifications Collaborates with class teachers subject teachers school counselors and parents Create a secure and productive classroom environment for the student Develops completes and maintains paperwork mandated by the regulatory bodies Prepare and help students transition from grade to grade Celebrates the achievements and successes of the students Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
