Job Summary The School Librarian is responsible for managing the school library to support the educational informational and recreational needs of students and staff This role includes organizing library resources promoting literacy collaborating with teachers and helping students develop research and information literacy skills Key Responsibilities Curate organize and maintain the school s library collection books digital resources periodicals Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources Teach students how to access evaluate and use information effectively information literacy Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs and design learning experiences Promote a culture of reading and lifelong learning through library programs and events Manage circulation shelving cataloging and inventory of library materials Implement and enforce library policies and procedures Maintain a welcoming inclusive and safe library environment Stay current with educational trends technology tools and recent literature for children teens Support students digital literacy and responsible technology use Job Type Full-time Pay 8 135 58 - 15 000 00 per month Schedule Morning shift Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Work Location In person
