About the role

We build our website and our internal business apps on the Zoho platform, and they are how our small team gets a lot done. This is a mixed role. You will do web development and build, configure, and customize apps on the Zoho platform. You will keep them running well, keep making them better, and help move our current website to Zoho Sites.

What you will do

- Design, build, and maintain our website and web apps so they work well on all screen sizes, match our brand, and stay fast and reliable.
- Build both the front-end and the back-end, and add secure features that hold up as use grows.
- Do updates, bug fixes, and speed improvements, and add new features when the business needs them.
- Configure and customize applications on the Zoho platform: build workflows, custom modules, forms, automation rules, and dashboards that fit how we work.




- Build and improve internal apps on Zoho Creator with Deluge scripting, and build custom apps or small utilities when the standard features do not meet the need.
- Connect our tools with REST APIs and integrations so information flows without manual work.
- Do front-end work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript so pages look right and behave well.
- Write Python for AI and automation, use AI tools in your daily work, and check the output yourself before you trust it.
- Write explicit documentation of how things are built and how to use them, so the work stays easy to maintain.
- Review our website, Zoho apps, and custom apps often, find the real cause of problems, remove things that slow us down, and fix issues fully so they do not come back.

What you should have

- About 3 to 5 years building on the Zoho platform, building websites, or both.
- Hands-on skill with Zoho Creator and Deluge scripting, or clear proof that you learn new platforms fast.
- Experience configuring Zoho applications: workflows, custom modules, forms, automation rules, and dashboards.
- Good front-end skill in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and comfort working on back-end code too.
- Experience connecting tools with REST APIs and integrations.




- Python for automation or AI work.
- Comfort using Git.
- Regular use of AI tools, and valuable judgement about when to trust them.
- A habit of writing clear documentation.
- A degree in computer science or IT, or real project work that shows the same skill.
- A portfolio, GitHub, or live websites you built that we can see.

Nice to have

Experience with Zoho Sites or WordPress, and with React or Node.
