Key Responsibilities

Functional Testing & Quality Assurance

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and change requests.
- Design, prepare, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT support testing.
- Validate end-to-end business processes across Way4 modules and integrated systems.
- Execute impact assessments for Way4 releases, upgrades, and product enhancements.
- Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects with development and support teams.
- Ensure testing coverage for customer deliveries, production fixes, and regulatory requirements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and provide clear testing status reports.

Way4 Domain Expertise

- Act as a subject matter expert for Way4 functionality and business processes.
- Understand Way4 configuration, parameters, card lifecycle, authorization, clearing, settlement, billing, collections, and customer servicing processes.
- Validate Way4 interfaces, APIs, batch jobs, integrations, and downstream data flows.
- Support testing activities related to Way4 version upgrades and platform modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and vendors to ensure solution quality.

Automation & AI Testing

- Design and develop automated regression and functional test suites.
- Contribute to the organization's unified testing and automation framework initiatives.
- Identify suitable test scenarios for automation and drive increased automation coverage.
- Develop and maintain automated testing solutions using contemporary testing tools and frameworks.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing techniques to improve test design, test data generation, defect prediction, and regression optimization.
- Evaluate emerging AI testing solutions and contribute ideas for continuous quality improvement.




- Support CI/CD integration and automated execution of regression test suites.

Required Skills & Experience Way4 & Functional Testing

- 5+ years of experience in software testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenWay Way4 platform.
- Deep understanding of payment cards, banking operations, and financial services.
- Experience testing:
- Card issuing
- Transaction processing
- Authorization
- Clearing & settlement
- Billing & collections
- Customer lifecycle management
- Interfaces and integrations
- Ability to independently analyze requirements and create test strategies.

Automation

- Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Hands-on experience building testing framework
- Experience with API, integration, and database testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and test data validation techniques.

AI & Modern Quality Engineering

- Experience using AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
- Understanding of:
- AI-driven test case generation
- Test optimization
- Defect prediction
- Self-healing automation
- Intelligent test maintenance
- Knowledge of integrating AI capabilities into test automation workflows is highly desirable.
