3–6 Years (Mandatory experience in the Fabrication/Manufacturing Industry)

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- Experience in CNC Waterjet Machine Programming and Operation.

Job Summary The Waterjet Operator & Programmer is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Waterjet Cutting Machines to produce high-quality components as per engineering drawings. The role includes machine operation, nesting, program optimization, quality inspection, and preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare CNC programs for Waterjet Cutting Machines using CAM software.

- Perform nesting to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap.

- Set up and operate Waterjet Cutting Machines as per production requirements.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and cutting specifications.

- Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and thickness.

- Perform machine setup, nozzle alignment, and calibration before production.

- Monitor cutting quality and make necessary program or parameter adjustments.





- Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality.

- Maintain daily production records and machine logs.

- Coordinate with Production, Design, PPC, Quality, and Stores departments.

- Carry out routine preventive maintenance and report machine issues.

- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished components.

- Follow all safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the work area.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
