Role Description The Warehouse Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jammu. This position is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, unloading materials, organizing stock, and preparing orders for dispatch to project sites. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, labeling and packing materials, and ensuring that all items are stored safely and efficiently.

The Warehouse

Specialist will operate basic material handling equipment, support routine stock checks, and coordinate with site and procurement teams to meet project timelines. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Shipping & Receiving and Unloading to manage inbound and outbound materials efficiently.




- Hands-on experience with Packing and basic Inventory Control to ensure accurate stock levels and organized storage.
- Must have clear understanding of LIFO & FIFO .
- Computer literacy for updating inventory records and using warehouse management or spreadsheet tools.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with construction, logistics, and procurement teams.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials, while following safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or construction materials workplace is preferred specially in Food Beverages and Retail stores.
