Role & responsibilities

- Operate and monitor VMC machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings.

- Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely.

- Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces for machining operations.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.

- Measure finished parts using precision instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.

- Perform machine offsets and basic program edits when required.

- Inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.

- Replace worn cutting tools and maintain proper tool inventory.

- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.

- Maintain records of production, inspection, and machine performance.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and 5S standards.

- Report machine faults or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
