Role & responsibilities
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for construction projects.
Verify contractor bills and subcontractor payments.
Monitor project costs and ensure budget compliance.
Prepare and evaluate tender documents and quotations.
Conduct rate analysis and cost comparison.
Track material consumption and reconcile quantities
.
Prepare monthly cost reports and project progress reports.
Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience in quantity surveying, estimation, and billing.
Knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and contract management.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
