Role & responsibilities

- Positive knowledge of Progressive Dies and Press Tools.

- Attend die breakdowns, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting during production.

- Perform die trials and identify problems such as burr, mismatch, bending, cracking, and dimensional variation.

- Good knowledge of punch-die clearance, cutting clearance, alignment, and die fitting.

- Read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements.

- Carry out die assembly, dismantling, fitting, adjustment, and modification as required.

- Perform preventive maintenance of dies to improve tool life and reduce production downtime.

- Identify recurring die problems and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.





- Maintain proper die maintenance, repair, trial, and tool history records.

- Support new die development, modification, and continuous improvement activities.

- Maintain 5S in the Tool Room and follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
