Role & responsibilities

- Type and prepare medical reports, discharge summaries, case sheets, prescriptions, and other clinical documents accurately.

- Transcribe doctors notes, dictated reports, and medical summaries.

- Ensure correct spelling, grammar, medical terminology, and formatting in all documents.

- Maintain accuracy while handling patient-related information and medical records.

- Review typed documents for errors and make necessary corrections.

- Maintain proper filing and documentation of medical reports.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, medical records, and other departments for report-related requirements.

- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records.





- Complete assigned typing work within the required timelines.

- Handle multiple reports and prioritize urgent documentation as required.

- Use MS Word and other hospital/medical record software for documentation.

- Follow hospital policies and procedures related to medical documentation and data security.
