Job Summary The Professor of General Medicine is the senior-most academic and clinical faculty member in the department responsible for leading teaching patient care research faculty development and departmental administration The Professor sets academic standards mentors junior faculty and postgraduate students and plays a strategic role in institutional growth and quality improvement in line with NMC regulations Key Responsibilities Academic Teaching Responsibilities Oversee and conduct teaching activities for undergraduate MBBS and postgraduate MD DNB students Design and update curriculum academic schedules and examination strategies Supervise and mentor Associate Professors Assistant Professors Senior Residents and students Guide MD DNB students in thesis work research methodology and publication Clinical Responsibilities Lead and supervise patient care in outpatient inpatient ICU and emergency services Provide expert opinion in complex and referred medical cases Ensure implementation of clinical protocols quality standards and medico-legal compliance Mentor clinical staff and promote evidence-based medical practice Research Publications Lead departmental research initiatives and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects Publish original research in indexed journals national international Review and approve academic projects publications and conference presentations Promote a research culture among faculty and students Administrative Responsibilities Head the department as applicable and manage day-to-day academic and clinical operations Coordinate with institutional leadership on policy implementation faculty recruitment and academic audits Participate in committees related to curriculum ethics medical education and hospital management Assist in preparations for NMC inspections accreditation NAAC NABH and other regulatory compliances Eligibility Criteria As per NMC Guidelines Educational Qualification MD or DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution Experience Minimum 8 years of teaching experience in General Medicine after obtaining the MD DNB degree At least 3 years as Associate Professor with the required number of research publications usually 4-5 indexed publications as per latest NMC criteria Registration Valid registration with State Medical Council or National Medical Commission NMC Qualification - MBBS MS MD Eligibility - As per NMC Norms Speak with employer (phone hidden) (phone hidden) Mail Id esidiwagar gmail com elevatedsynergyindia gmail com Job Type Full time Pay 150 000 00 - 200 000 00 per month Work Location In person
