Job Overview We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer with strong operational knowledge to join our energetic team The ideal candidate should be capable of handling VMC machines independently with experience in programming using PowerMill software and preferably from an SPM Special Purpose Machine manufacturing background Key Responsibilities Create efficient and accurate programs for VMC machines using Autodesk PowerMill Set up and operate VMC machines to ensure high-precision output Review and interpret technical drawings blueprints and 3D models Select appropriate tools speeds and feeds for optimal machining Collaborate with design and production teams to improve machining processes Conduct trial runs inspect output and make necessary adjustments Ensure timely production with minimal downtime and quality rejections Required Skills Strong knowledge of VMC machine operations and tooling Expertise in PowerMill CAM software mandatory Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Familiarity with machining tolerances and GD T Good knowledge of CNC controls and machine codes Strong attention to detail and quality standards Experience with SPM components will be a significant advantage Preferred Qualifications Diploma ITI Engineering in Mechanical or relevant field Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in VMC programming and operations Prior experience in an SPM manufacturing environment is highly desirable Work Schedule Working Hours 9 00 AM to 7 00 PM Working Days Monday to Saturday Sunday Off Benefits Attendance Incentives Overtime Pay If applicable Opportunities for skill development in advanced machining and automation Interested Candidates Can Contact Arunkumar - HR Executive (phone hidden) arunhr sammstech gmail com SAMMS TECH SPM AUTOMATION Ambattur Industrial Estate Chennai - 600058 Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Schedule Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Work Location In person
